Cavo in fibra ottica DeLOCK 85084 2m LC giallo

The DeLOCK 85084 is a 2 m OS2 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission with a 9 µm single-mode core. Its yellow jacket provides clear colour coding for easy identification and cable management in data centers and networking installations. The two conductors share a common sheath and boot for a compact, space-saving design.

Advantages

The cable offers low attenuation and reliable single-mode performance over long distances thanks to the 9 µm core. LC connectors on both ends support standard SFP and SFP+ transceivers and allow straightforward connection between NICs, switches or media converters. A shared sheath and boot reduce the cable diameter and improve routing in high-density panels, while the extractor lever simplifies unplugging from tightly packed ports.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting SFP/SFP+ modules and network devices in data centres
• Connections between NICs and switches
• Linking media converters and patch panels

Key specifications

• Manufacturer: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 85084
• EAN: 4043619850846
• Length: 2 m
• Fibre type: OS2 (single-mode)
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connector type: LC — LC
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert the LC connectors into compatible LC ports on SFP/SFP+ transceivers, switches, NICs or media converters until the connector latches. Route the cable following standard cable management practices to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress. To unplug, use the extractor lever to release the connector from high-density panels and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Maintain a minimum bend radius as specified by the fibre manufacturer, avoid excessive pulling force, and keep connector end faces clean to ensure optimal transmission performance.
