Cavo in fibra ottica DeLOCK 88073 LC Duplex a LC Duplex OS2 5m

The DeLOCK Optical Fiber Cable LC Duplex to LC Duplex OS2 5m is a singlemode fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission between networking devices. With a 9 µm core diameter and OS2 specification, the cable supports full duplex communication and is suitable for reliable, long-distance connections in structured networks. The yellow jacket and 5 m length make it easy to identify and route within installations.

Advantages

Angled LC duplex connectors can be oriented in any direction (right, left, up or down), allowing space-saving installation in confined areas. The OS2 singlemode construction with a 9 µm core ensures low attenuation for stable signal transmission. Full duplex LC-to-LC connectivity provides straightforward patching between switches, media converters and other optical equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches to media converters
• Patch panels and fiber distribution frames
• Long-distance singlemode links in LAN and campus networks
• Data centre and telecom fiber interconnects

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector 1: LC duplex (angled)
• Connector 2: LC duplex (angled)
• Fiber type: OS2 singlemode, 9 µm core
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the 5 m LC duplex fiber cable between the two devices to be connected, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion. Orient the angled LC connectors as needed to fit the available space and insert them into corresponding LC ports until they click. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection to maintain low loss. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; follow installation standards for singlemode fiber to ensure optimal performance.
