Cavo in fibra ottica duplex InLine LC/SC 50/125µm OM5 7,5 m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/SC 50/125µm OM5 7.5m is a multimode fibre patch cable designed for high-bandwidth network environments. It features a 50 µm core diameter and OM5 graded-index glass optimized for wideband multimode transmission. The duplex construction supports simultaneous bidirectional data flow and the mixed LC and SC connector pairings allow connection to different transceivers and patch panels without additional adapters.

Advantages

This OM5 cable provides increased modal bandwidth for short- to medium-range links, enabling higher data rates in data centre and enterprise networks. The duplex format simplifies full-duplex link deployment while the 7.5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-patch-panel routing. LC connectors deliver compact connections for high-density panels, and SC connectors provide a robust push-pull interface for legacy or rack-mounted systems.

Suitable for

• Data centre horizontal and inter-rack connections
• Enterprise backbone and server connectivity
• High-speed switches, transceivers and optical modules
• Test setups and lab environments requiring mixed connector types

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode OM5 (wideband multimode)
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibres)
• Connectors: 2x LC on one end, 2x SC on the other end
• Length: 7.5 metres
• Application: Short- to medium-range high-bandwidth optical links

How to use

Install the InLine LC/SC duplex cable by inserting the LC connectors into matching LC ports and the SC connectors into SC ports, observing correct polarity for transmit and receive channels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by standard multimode cables. For high-density panels, secure excess cable length in cable management trays or Velcro ties to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Keep connector endfaces clean and protected when not connected; use dust caps and inspect endfaces with a fibre inspection pen or microscope before mating. For best performance, use this OM5 cable for links within recommended multimode distance ranges and pair it with compatible OM5-rated transceivers and patch panels.
