Cavo in fibra ottica duplex LC/LC InLine 50/125µm OM3 10m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable LC/LC 88549O 10m is a multimode OM3 fiber patch cable with a 50/125 µm core/cladding profile designed for full duplex fiber connections. With LC connectors on both ends and a 10 meter length, this cable supports high-speed data transmission in structured cabling, data centres and enterprise network links. The OM3 specification provides enhanced bandwidth for short- to medium-range multimode fiber links and is suited to applications that require low insertion loss and predictable optical performance.

Advantages

This OM3 duplex cable delivers consistent multimode performance with low attenuation and reliable connector mating thanks to LC terminations. The 50/125 µm core diameter maintains compatibility with standard multimode transceivers and patch panels while the duplex LC/LC configuration enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels for full duplex operation. The 10 meter length offers installation flexibility without excess slack, and the cable construction is intended to provide stable optical characteristics and straightforward handling during deployment.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Length: 10 m
• Mode: Duplex full duplex operation (separate Tx/Rx fibers)
• Typical use case: Patch cable for network equipment and racks

How to use

Route the duplex LC/LC cable between compatible LC port pairs, ensuring the transmit (Tx) port on one device connects to the receive (Rx) port on the other device for correct full duplex communication. Avoid tight bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by fiber handling guidelines to preserve optical performance. Secure the cable along racks or cable trays to prevent strain on the connectors and avoid contact with sharp edges or sources of mechanical stress during installation.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before insertion and clean with appropriate fiber-cleaning tools if contamination is present. Use dust caps when ports are unused and follow standard multimode fiber handling procedures to minimise insertion loss and maintain OM3 performance characteristics.
