Cavo in fibra ottica duplex ST/ST InLine 50/125µm OM3 10m

The InLine Fiber Optical Duplex Cable ST/ST 50/125µm OM3 10m is a multimode duplex patch cable with ST connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in short-range networking environments. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding diameter and OM3 rating, the cable supports full-duplex communication and is suitable for connections between networking equipment where low attenuation and controlled modal bandwidth are required.

Advantages

This OM3 multimode fiber cable provides reliable signal integrity for links up to 10 meters, supports simultaneous transmit and receive channels thanks to its duplex configuration, and uses ST connectors for secure bayonet-style mating. The 50/125 µm core size and OM3 performance make it compatible with common multimode applications that require higher bandwidth than OM1/OM2 grades.

Suitable for

• Short-range fiber connections between switches, transceivers, and patch panels
• Multimode network links in data centers and server rooms
• Fiber-based lab and test equipment interconnections

How to use

Ensure both ends of the ST/ST cable are clean and free of dust before connecting. Align the ST connector’s key, insert it into the ST socket and twist the bayonet coupling until it locks. Use one fiber for transmitting and the other for receiving according to the port labeling on your equipment. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension to maintain performance.

Recommendations

Store the cable in a dry, dust-free environment and use appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection. For best performance, avoid bends smaller than the manufacturer’s specified minimum bend radius and inspect connectors periodically for contamination or damage.
