Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0314.5-1.2 5 m 2x SC 2x LC

The EFB Elektronik O0314.5-1.2 is a 5 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with 2x SC and 2x LC connectors, designed for full-duplex data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and an aqua jacket, this cable supports high-speed links in structured cabling, server rooms and network equipment interconnects where OM3 performance is required. The cable is suitable for short- to medium-distance multimode deployments and provides consistent optical performance for applications that demand low insertion loss and reliable signal integrity.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable offers a standardized 50 µm core for multimode networks and supports full-duplex communication through separate connector pairs. The combination of SC and LC terminations provides compatibility with a wide range of equipment, enabling straightforward connections between switches, transceivers and patch panels. The 5 m length reduces the need for additional patching and helps maintain tidy installations while the aqua jacket color follows commonly accepted coding for OM3 multimode fibres.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: 2x SC (one end) and 2x LC (other end) in duplex configuration
• Duplex/full-duplex support: yes
• Jacket color: aqua
• Typical applications: multimode short-range data links and patching

How to use

Connect the SC and LC connector pairs to the corresponding ports on network devices, transceivers or patch panels, ensuring correct orientation for duplex transmission. Avoid sharp bends and maintain the cable bend radius recommended for multimode fibre to prevent increased attenuation. Inspect connectors for cleanliness before mating and use appropriate dust caps when the cable is not connected. Route the cable so it is protected from mechanical stress and secured within racks or trunking to preserve optical performance.
