Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0319.25 25 m 2x LC viola

The EFB Elektronik O0319.25 is a 25 m OM4 fibre optic cable with duplex LC connectors at both ends, designed for high-bandwidth network links. With a 50 µm core diameter and violet jacket, this multimode patch cable supports full duplex communication and delivers low-loss transmission suitable for short- to medium-range links in structured cabling environments. The cable is intended for use where consistent signal quality and predictable insertion loss are required.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode construction with a 50 µm core provides improved modal bandwidth compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, enabling higher data rates over typical data-centre distances. The duplex LC terminations offer compact, duplex-capable connectivity compatible with common transceivers and switch ports. A 25 m length reduces the need for additional splicing or intermediate patch panels in many installations, while the colour-coded violet jacket simplifies identification within dense cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Data centre rack-to-rack and equipment-to-equipment connections
• High-bandwidth LAN backbones and aggregation links
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre interconnects
• Environments requiring duplex LC connectivity and easy cable identification

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM4 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: 2x LC duplex on both ends
• Length: 25 m
• Jacket colour: violet
• Mode: Full duplex

How to use

Inspect connectors and fibre ends for cleanliness before installation; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Route the cable through cable management paths or trays avoiding tight bends and excessive pulling force. Insert each LC connector into the matching duplex adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place, ensuring correct polarity for duplex links. Test the installed link with suitable fibre test equipment to verify insertion loss and continuity, and label both ends to maintain clear identification.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable according to standard fibre optic precautions: avoid kinking, keep bend radius above the manufacturer's recommended minimum, and protect connector endfaces from dust. Use OM4 multimode fibre within recommended distance and bandwidth limits for the target data rate and choose compatible transceivers and patch panels to maintain performance.
