Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0319FT.5 5 m 2x LC viola

The EFB Elektronik O0319FT.5 is a 5 m OM4 fibre optic cable with dual LC connectors on both ends, designed for full duplex communication. It has a 50 µm core diameter and a violet jacket for easy identification. The cable features an additional outer jacket made of LSZH material, which increases stability and simplifies installation compared with standard jumpers.

Advantages

The additional outer jacket improves mechanical stability and protection of the fibres while the LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces harmful emissions in case of fire. Dual LC connectors provide reliable full duplex signal transmission and the 5 m length suits short to medium links in racks and patch panels. Violet colour coding aids fast identification in multi-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Interconnects between switches, transceivers and patch panels in data centres
• High-speed connections in enterprise network racks
• OM4 multimode links requiring full duplex LC connections

Key specifications

• Brand: EFB Elektronik
• Model / MPN: O0319FT.5
• EAN: 4049759157630
• Length: 5 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm (OM4 multimode)
• Connector type: 2x LC — duplex on both ends
• Jacket: LSZH outer jacket for improved stability
• Colour: Violet

How to use

Route the fibre optic jumper between the two LC ports to be connected, avoiding sharp bends and routing close to sources of mechanical stress. Gently insert the LC connectors until they click into place. Ensure connectors and ports are clean before mating to maintain signal quality. For removal, press the LC latch and pull straight out without twisting.

Recommendations

Store and install the cable following standard fibre handling practices: keep bend radius above manufacturer limits, avoid crushing or kinking, and use protective boots or cable management in dense installations. Use LSZH cables in enclosed spaces where reduced smoke and toxic gas emissions are required.
