Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O0948.1 1 m LC I-V(ZN) H giallo

The EFB Elektronik O0948.1 is a 1 m OM3 fibre optic patchcord with LC connectors on both ends. It provides a short, standardized optical connection between a passive interface and an active device port and is intended for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling environments. The I-V(ZN) H cable construction offers mechanical durability and flexibility, and the yellow jacket enables easy identification in installations.

Advantages

This LC–LC OM3 fibre jumper supports multimode high-bandwidth transmission over short to medium distances and complies with structured cabling definitions. Its 1 m length minimises excess slack in patching fields, the LC connectors ensure compact duplex connections, and the cable jacket construction improves handling and long-term reliability in rack and data-centre environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, servers and patch panels in data centres
• Short optical links in office LANs and wiring closets
• High-speed multimode links requiring OM3 performance

Key specifications

• Length: 1 m
• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Connector type: LC to LC duplex
• Cable construction: I-V(ZN) H jacket offering flexibility and durability
• Jacket colour: Yellow

How to use

Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC duplex ports on the devices or patch panels until the latch clicks. Avoid tight bends and maintain the specified minimum bend radius for multimode fibre during routing. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and clean connector endfaces before insertion to ensure optimal signal quality.

Recommendations

Store and handle the OM3 fibre jumper carefully to prevent contamination or mechanical damage. For best performance in high-density installations, route the cable to minimise bend and strain and verify link integrity after installation with appropriate optical testing equipment.
