Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O6363.1 1 m SC ST arancione

The EFB Elektronik O6363.1 1 m fibre optic cable is a multimode OM1 jumper with SC connector on one end and ST connector on the other. Designed for short-range network links and equipment connections, this 62.5 µm core cable supports full duplex transmission and is finished in industry-standard orange for quick identification and cable management. The compact 1 m length makes it suitable for patch panels, switches, media converters and laboratory setups where reliable multimode connectivity is required.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides consistent multimode performance with a 62.5 µm core diameter, enabling stable full duplex communication between devices with SC and ST interfaces. The SC and ST connector combination ensures compatibility with a wide range of networking equipment. The bright orange jacket improves visual management in crowded racks and cabling runs, and the short 1 m length reduces excess slack and signal attenuation in patching scenarios.

Suitable for

• Connecting switch ports to patch panels in local area networks
• Interfacing media converters, transceivers and network appliances
• Laboratory and testing setups requiring short multimode links
• Installing within equipment cabinets and rack-mounted systems

Key specifications

• Fibre type: Multimode (OM1)
• Core diameter: 62.5 µm
• Length: 1 m
• Connector A: SC
• Connector B: ST
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Verify that both devices support multimode fibre with SC and ST interfaces before connection. Align and insert the SC connector until it clicks and secure the ST connector by inserting and twisting its bayonet-style coupling. Ensure connectors and transceiver ports are clean and free of dust using appropriate fibre-cleaning tools. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends; maintain the manufacturer-recommended minimum bend radius and secure the cable to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use within short-range multimode links and indoor environments. Store the cable coiled without tight loops, keep connector end caps on when not in use, and clean connectors before mating. Avoid exposing the cable to excessive mechanical stress, moisture or direct sunlight to preserve performance and service life.
