Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O6413.35 35 m SC arancione

The EFB Elektronik O6413.35 35 m SC Orange is an OM2 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable short- to medium-distance data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends, this fibre cable supports full-duplex communication and is suitable for patch panels, switches and active equipment in structured cabling environments. The orange jacket provides standard multimode identification for easier cable management.

Advantages

This 35 m OM2 fibre optic cable offers consistent optical performance with a 50 µm core diameter optimized for multimode links. SC connectors deliver stable mechanical coupling and straightforward push-pull mating. The full-duplex configuration enables simultaneous bi-directional data flow, and the durable orange jacket simplifies identification and routing in racks or cable trays.

Suitable for

• Patch connections between switches, routers and patch panels in data centers
• Short- to medium-distance multimode fibre links within buildings and campus networks
• Fiber optic patching for telecommunications and network closets
• Laboratory or test setups requiring repeatable multimode connections

Key specifications

• Length: 35 m
• Fiber type: OM2 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Transmission mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Route the fibre optic cable between the required devices, avoiding tight bends and pressure points; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode cables. Insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC port until it clicks to ensure secure coupling. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and inspect connector endfaces for contamination before mating. For organized installations, secure the cable along trays or cable management channels to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid pulling on the fibre to prevent damage. Clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connecting. For best performance in structured cabling, document port assignments and use colour-coded fibre management to match the orange jacket with multimode links.
