Cavo in fibra ottica EFB Elektronik O7413.7,5 7,5 m SC turchese

The EFB Elektronik O7413.7,5 is a 7.5 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with SC connectors on both ends. It has a 50 µm core diameter and is designed for full duplex data transmission. The turquoise jacket provides easy identification in structured cabling systems while the OM3 specification supports higher bandwidth and reliable performance for short to medium distance links in data centre and enterprise environments.

Advantages

The cable offers stable high-speed performance over multimode networks and is suitable for applications requiring low signal attenuation and consistent connection quality. SC connectors on both ends give secure push-pull engagement and straightforward installation. The 7.5 m length balances flexibility and reach without excess slack, and the turquoise color simplifies cable management and identification in patch panels and trunking systems.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and inter-rack connections
• Enterprise network links between switches and servers
• High-bandwidth multimode applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to medium distances
• Laboratory and test bench setups requiring repeatable multimode links

Key specifications

• Fiber type: OM3 multimode
• Length: 7.5 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC
• Configuration: Duplex
• Jacket color: Turquoise

How to use

Route the cable between the two network devices ensuring minimum bend radius is respected to avoid attenuation. Clean SC connector endfaces before insertion using appropriate fibre cleaning tools to maintain signal quality. Insert connectors into the SC ports until they click into place; for full duplex operation, ensure both fibers of the duplex pair are correctly aligned with transmit and receive ports. Secure excess cable length in cable management trays to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without sharp bends and avoid crushing or kinking. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform regular inspection of connector endfaces. For installations in high-density environments, label both ends for easier maintenance and follow OM3 multimode transmission guidelines for maximum reach at the required data rate.
