Cavo in fibra ottica Garbot FO B-01-50370 OM3 50/125 multimodale

Garbot FO Cable B-01-50370 is a multimode fiber optic cable with OM3 specification and 50/125 µm core/cladding, equipped with LC to LC PC connectors and a 10 m aqua jacket. It is designed for high-speed data transmission in local area networks, data centers and backbone links, providing reliable optical connectivity for structured cabling installations and compatibility with laser-optimized multimode transceivers.

Advantages

The OM3 50/125 µm construction supports higher bandwidth and is optimized for 850 nm VCSEL-based transceivers, enabling reliable short- to medium-range multimode links. Factory-terminated LC/LC PC connectors ensure consistent connector quality and simple plug-and-play installation. The aqua jacket and standardized multimode specification simplify identification and integration into structured cabling systems.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects
• Horizontal cabling in office LANs
• Fiber patch panels and equipment patching
• Short- to medium-range multimode links with laser-optimized transceivers

How to use

Route the 10 m LC/LC multimode patch cable between compatible LC ports on transceivers, switches, patch panels or active equipment. Ensure connectors are clean before insertion and avoid tight bends below the cable's minimum bend radius. Use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors and maintain signal performance.

Recommendations

Use with laser-optimized multimode transceivers (850 nm) for best performance; inspect and clean LC connectors regularly; avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; store and handle the cable according to standard fiber optic practices to preserve link quality.
