Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand Hama 00200765 3 m LC SC bianco

The HAMA 00200765 InfiniBand/fibre optic cable (3 m, LC–SC, white) provides high-speed data transfer up to 10 Gbps. Designed for networking applications, the cable uses halogen-free (LSZH) materials to reduce toxic gas and smoke emission in case of fire and features a slimline plug and polished contact surfaces to ensure reliable, low-loss optical connections.

Advantages

The cable supports gigabit Ethernet data rates up to 10 Gbps and is constructed from halogen-free (LSZH) flame-retardant materials that minimize corrosive or toxic gases and smoke. Specially polished contact surfaces and accurate connector fit ensure a lossless transition and stable signal transfer. The slimline plug is suitable for space-constrained or mobile devices, and flexible materials provide kink protection to reduce the risk of cable breakage. High-quality materials and workmanship deliver consistent transmission performance.

Suitable for

• High-speed data transmission in server rooms and data centres
• Fiber-optic networking between network equipment with LC and SC ports
• Connections in space-limited setups or mobile devices requiring slimline plugs
• Environments where reduced smoke and toxic gas emission is required (LSZH)

Key specifications

• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: LC to SC
• Colour: White
• Data transfer: up to 10 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet class)
• Cable material: Halogen-free (LSZH), flame-retardant

How to use

Connect the LC end to the device or transceiver with an LC port and the SC end to the corresponding SC port on the network device. Ensure connectors are clean and aligned before insertion to maintain low-loss optical transmission. Avoid sharp bends or kinks and secure the cable so it is not subject to tension or crushing during operation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connector endfaces free of dust and contaminants by using appropriate cleaning tools. Route the cable with gentle bends, respecting minimum bend radius for the fibre type, and avoid exposing the cable to mechanical stress or temperatures beyond the device specifications.
