Cavo in fibra ottica InfiniBand Lanview LVO231479 5 m 2x LC 2x SC acqua

The Lanview LVO231479 is a 5 m OM3 multimode bend-insensitive fibre optic cable with 2x LC and 2x SC connectors. With a 50/125 µm core/cladding and an aqua jacket, this cable supports full-duplex links for 10G/40G/100G Ethernet and is suitable for use with 10G SR, 10G LRM and SFP+ transceivers. The cable is manufactured using LSZH materials and conforms to common industry standards for structured cabling.

Advantages

This OM3 50/125 µm multimode cable offers reduced attenuation when bent or twisted compared with traditional fibres, improving installation flexibility and long-term performance in patching and trunking environments. Its OM3 specification and LC/SC connector combination provide compatibility with a wide range of transceivers and switches used for high-speed Ethernet. The LSZH jacket minimizes smoke and toxic emissions in case of fire, meeting safety requirements for many installation sites.

Suitable for

• 10G Ethernet connections (SR/LRM)
• Connections using SFP+ transceivers
• High-speed links in data centres and server rooms
• Patch panels and horizontal cabling requiring LC and SC terminations

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode OM3, bend-insensitive
• Core / cladding: 50/125 µm
• Connectors: 2x LC to 2x SC (full duplex)
• Length: 5 m
• Jacket: LSZH, aqua colour
• Weight: 0.04 kg

How to use

Connect the LC ends to devices or patch panels equipped with LC ports and the SC ends to equipment or panels with SC ports to establish full-duplex optical links. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before mating to avoid signal loss. Route the cable following your site’s bend-radius guidelines and secure it in cable management systems to prevent strain on terminations.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this OM3 cable for short- to medium-distance multimode links typical in data centres and enterprise networks, avoid tight bends beyond the specified minimum bend radius, and keep connectors dust-free by using protective caps when disconnected.
