Cavo in fibra ottica LOGON AL5LCLC07I/3I 7 m OM3 LC–LC aqua full duplex

LOGON PROFESSIONAL AL5LCLC07I/3I is a 7 m OM3 multimode fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends (LC–LC) designed for full duplex data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and OM3 specification, this aqua-coloured LC–LC patch cable is intended for high-speed short-range links in data centres, network racks, storage area networks (SAN) and InfiniBand or Fibre Channel environments that require OM3 performance.

Advantages

The cable supports OM3 multimode performance for reliable high-bandwidth connections over short distances and is terminated with LC connectors for dense port environments. The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket reduces toxic fumes and smoke in case of fire, making it suitable for enclosed server rooms and telecom cabinets. Full duplex configuration enables simultaneous bidirectional data transfer, and the 7 m length offers flexible routing between equipment within racks or adjacent cabinets.

Suitable for

• Interconnects in data centres and server rooms
• Patch panels and network racks
• Storage area network (SAN) links and Fibre Channel
• InfiniBand short-range connections
• High-speed multimode links requiring OM3 performance

Key specifications

• Multimode fibre type: OM3
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Length: 7 m
• Configuration: Full duplex
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Colour: Aqua

How to use

Inspect connectors and fibre ends before installation to ensure cleanliness and integrity. Route the cable through cable management trays or within racks to avoid tight bends; respect the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Insert the LC connectors into matching LC ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels until they click into place. Use appropriate strain relief and secure the cable to prevent movement; for duplex operation, ensure the correct orientation of transmit and receive pairs on both ends.

Recommendations

Clean LC connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools before each connection and avoid repeated mating cycles to preserve optical performance. For optimal OM3 performance, use compatible OM3-rated transceivers and avoid exceeding the recommended link distance for the targeted data rate.
