Cavo in fibra ottica METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJA10E SC LC I-V(ZN) H 1 m bianco

The METZ CONNECT 151P7EAJA10E SC-LC fibre optic patch cable is a 1 m white jumper designed for short-distance optical connections in communication and data networks. It is built with G.657.A2 single-mode fibre with a 9 µm core diameter and terminated with an SC connector on one end and an LC connector on the other. The I-V(ZN) H cable construction provides flexibility and mechanical protection suitable for indoor installations and cabling paths where space and bend radius are limited.

Advantages

This METZ CONNECT cable combines G.657.A2 fibre performance with a compact SC-to-LC termination, enabling reliable single-mode transmission and low insertion loss in patching applications. The 1 m length is convenient for patch panels, optical distribution frames, and short inter-equipment links. The I-V(ZN) H jacket improves bend resistance and durability while the white outer color facilitates neat visual organization in racks and enclosures.

Suitable for

• Connecting optical patch panels to active equipment with SC or LC ports
• Short interconnects in server rooms, data centers, and telecom cabinets
• Indoor structured cabling where bend-insensitive single-mode fibre is required
• Fiber optic testing and temporary link setups

Key specifications

• Fibre type: single-mode G.657.A2
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: SC (one end) to LC (other end)
• Cable construction: I-V(ZN) H jacket
• Length: 1 m
• Color: White

How to use

Install the SC-LC fibre optic cable by aligning and inserting the SC connector into the corresponding SC port and the LC connector into the LC port until secure connection is achieved. Avoid excessive bending near the connector boots and route the cable following existing cable management guides to maintain minimum bend radius. For permanent installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Handle the cable by the connector housings when plugging or unplugging, keep connector endfaces clean and protected with dust caps when not in use, and verify link performance with appropriate optical test equipment after installation.
