Cavo in fibra ottica S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77933/3 3 m LC turchese

The S/CONN ShiverPeaks 77933/3 is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable with LC connectors on both ends and a length of 3 m. Designed for rack and structured cabling environments, this fibre cable features a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex links for high-speed data transmission. The turquoise jacket provides clear visual identification in cable trays and patch panels, while the LC connector format ensures compact connections in dense installations.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable delivers low attenuation and stable signal performance over short to medium distances typical in data centres and telecom closets. The LC-to-LC connection enables space-efficient termination and reliable mating with equipment that uses small form-factor connectors. The standardized multimode core and polished connectors reduce insertion loss, supporting consistent throughput and minimal signal degradation in enterprise networks.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and interconnects
• LAN backbone and horizontal cabling
• High-density switch and transceiver connections
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch links within a rack or between adjacent racks

Key specifications

• Type: Multimode OM3 fibre
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: LC to LC (both ends)
• Length: 3 m
• Mode: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise

How to use

Before installation, verify the transceiver and patch panel accept LC connectors and that the selected OM3 multimode fibre matches the required link budget. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force; maintain the minimum bend radius specified by industry standards for multimode fibre. Insert LC connectors into the corresponding ports until they click into place, ensuring correct polarity for full duplex operation. For removal, depress the connector latch and pull straight out to avoid damaging the ferrule.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 LC patch cable for short- to medium-range connections where multimode performance is required. Keep dust caps on connectors when not in use, inspect and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before mating, and label both ends for easier identification in dense cabling environments.
