Cavo in fibra ottica simplex InLine LC/APC (8°) a SC/APC (8°) 9/125 µm OS2, 40 m

Telecommunications companies such as Vodafone, Deutsche Glasfaser and Telekom are increasingly enabling fibre connections for private households in Germany. Fibre to the home (FTTH) cables from InLine connect the house transfer point with the fibre optic modem and ensure a reliable fibre optic connection in your home.
Unfortunately, pre-installed cables from providers are often of poor quality and sometimes only 1.6mm thick. If the cable breaks, even the fastest fibre optic connection will not help. InLine FTTH cables are 3mm thick and have a particularly stable structure. Additional reinforcement in the form of a stainless steel spiral tube guarantees a long-term, reliable fibre optic connection in private homes. The neutral sheath colour white is suitable for inconspicuous installation in visible living areas. Different lengths up to 50m allow you to remain flexible, even if the position of the modem changes.

InLine Fiber Optical Simplex Cable, FTTH, LC/APC8° to SC/APC8° 9/125µm OS2 40m. Cable length: 40 m, Fibre optic type: OS2, Connector 1: LC, Connector 2: SC, Core diameter: 9 µm

How to use

Route the InLine LC/APC to SC/APC simplex cable from the house transfer point to the fiber modem or patch panel, avoiding sharp bends and excessive pulling force. Use appropriate strain relief at both connector ends and secure the cable in ducts or along baseboards to prevent mechanical stress. Before inserting connectors, ensure connector endfaces are clean and free from dust or grease; use a fiber inspection tool or lint‑free wipe with appropriate cleaning fluid if needed. Insert the LC/APC connector into the modem or adapter and the SC/APC into the corresponding adapter or patch panel until a secure connection is achieved.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid bend radii smaller than the manufacturer’s recommendation, keep connectors capped when not in use, and perform optical loss measurements after installation. Use the cable in protected ducts or indoors; if external exposure is expected, ensure additional environmental protection. Routine inspection of connector endfaces and periodic verification of insertion and return loss help maintain a stable FTTH connection.
