Cavo in fibra ottica Televes OSK20S 20 m FC grigio

The Televes OSK20S 20 m FC Grey is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable signal transmission over short to medium distances. With FC connectors on both ends and a 20-metre length, this fibre optic cable supports high-speed data links and low insertion loss, suitable for network interconnects, test setups and installations where a durable, fixed-length cable is required.

Advantages

This Televes fibre optic cable provides stable optical connection with low attenuation and secure screw-on FC connectors that offer reliable mating and minimal back reflection. The 20 m length delivers flexibility in rack-to-rack or room-to-room connections while the grey outer jacket resists abrasion and mechanical stress for extended service life. Connector endfaces are designed to ensure consistent signal transfer and reduced maintenance requirements.

Suitable for

• Short to medium distance single-mode fibre links in data centres and network rooms
• Interconnection between optical equipment such as transceivers, patch panels and switches
• Laboratory and field test setups requiring FC-terminated leads
• Fixed installations in broadcast, telecom or enterprise environments

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 metres
• Connector type: FC on both ends (screw-type)
• Mode: single-mode
• Outer jacket colour: grey
• Typical use: patch/patching lead for optical equipment

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for dust or contaminants before making connections and, if necessary, clean with appropriate fibre-cleaning tools. Align and thread the FC connectors carefully to the mating adapters or equipment ports until fully seated to ensure low-loss contact. Avoid sharp bends and excessive tension along the 20 m length; maintain recommended bend radius for single-mode fibre. When routing, secure the cable to prevent pulling or snagging and store coiled without tight loops when not in use.

Recommendations

Use dust caps when connectors are not in use, perform periodic endface inspections, and follow standard fibre handling procedures to preserve optical performance. For installations where vibration or frequent reconnection is expected, verify connector seating periodically to prevent signal degradation.
