Cavo InfiniBand/fibra ottica BlueOptics ATZ2-BO 20 m SFP+ connettore maschio/connettore maschio

The BlueOptics ATZ2-BO InfiniBand/fibre optic cable 20 m SFP+ Male/Male is a 20-metre multimode fibre cable designed for high-speed data links using SFP+ transceivers. It provides a direct optical connection between compatible SFP+ ports and is intended for data centre, server rack and switch interconnects where low-latency, high-throughput transmission is required.

Advantages

This 20 m fibre optic cable delivers stable optical performance over a medium-range distance and supports SFP+ interfaces for 10 Gigabit Ethernet and InfiniBand links. The male-to-male SFP+ termination ensures plug-and-play compatibility with equipment that accepts SFP+ optical modules. The cable construction minimises signal loss and crosstalk, helping maintain link integrity in dense networking environments.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics ATZ2-BO by inserting the SFP+ connectors into compatible SFP+ ports on network devices, ensuring each connector clicks into place. Route the cable through rack channels or cable management systems to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress. Verify link status on both devices and confirm negotiated speed and signal integrity through device interfaces or management software.

Recommendations

Handle fibre connectors by the housing and keep protective caps on unused ends to prevent contamination. Maintain bend radius limits specified by the fibre type, avoid tight loops, and keep the cable away from sources of physical damage and electromagnetic interference. For critical links, test optical power and BER after installation and periodically inspect connectors for cleanliness.
