Cavo InfiniBand/in fibra ottica Telegärtner L00891C0018 2 m SC LC arancione

The Telegärtner L00891C0018 is a 2 m InfiniBand/fibre optic cable with SC and LC duplex connectors and an orange flame-retardant, halogen-free jacket. Factory-assembled using precision connectors and quality fibers, this patch cable is designed to provide stable optical transmission with low insertion loss and controlled reflection, making it suitable for high-speed networking environments such as data centers and enterprise racks.

Advantages

Factory-assembled construction and optimized components ensure consistent optical and mechanical properties and a long service life. Duplex SC-LC connector configuration prevents swapping of transmit and receive lines. The cable jacket is flame-retardant and halogen-free, reducing environmental load and improving safety in enclosed installations.

Suitable for

• InfiniBand and fibre optic interconnects in data centers
• Patch panels and server rack connections
• Connections between outlets and terminal equipment
• High-speed networking and enterprise backbone links

Key specifications

• Brand: Telegärtner
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): L00891C0018
• EAN: 4018359357740
• Length: 2 m
• Connector types: SC (duplex) to LC (duplex)
• Cable jacket: orange, flame-retardant, halogen-free

How to use

Connect the SC and LC duplex connectors to corresponding ports on patch panels, switches or transceivers, taking care to match the duplex orientation to avoid swapping transmit and receive pairs. Route the cable to prevent sharp bends and mechanical strain; secure in racks or cable management guides as required. No assembly is required since the cable is factory-terminated.

Recommendations

Inspect connectors before installation for contamination; use appropriate cleaning tools if necessary. Maintain bend radius recommended by the equipment manufacturer and avoid tension that could affect insertion loss. For critical links, test optical insertion loss and return loss after installation.
