Cavo networking shiverpeaks BASIC-S Cat7 1 m

The ShiverPeaks BASIC-S Cat7 networking cable 1m is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections in home and office environments. Featuring U/FTP (individual foil shielding per pair with an overall braid), RJ-45 connectors on both ends, and a compact 1 meter length, this green Cat7 cable supports up to 10 Gbps data rates and reduces electromagnetic interference for stable signal transmission.

Advantages

This Cat7 U/FTP cable provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, delivering consistent throughput for bandwidth-heavy tasks. The RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports while the 1m length reduces cable clutter and signal attenuation in short-distance setups. The cable's construction is suited to environments where interference minimization and reliable gigabit-plus performance are required.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between router/switch and PC, console, or media player
• Gaming setups requiring low latency and stable throughput
• Streaming video and audio at high bitrates
• Small office and home networks with 10 Gbps-capable equipment
• Patch cables in structured cabling racks and wall outlets

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Length: 1 meter
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: U/FTP (individual pair foil + overall braid)
• Maximum supported speed: up to 10 Gbps
• Color: green

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (router, switch, network card or console) and the other plug to the destination device. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain contact and avoid signal loss. For optimal performance, use the cable for direct short-distance links within a rack, between devices on a desk, or for patching between wall outlets and network equipment. Avoid tight bends and crushing the cable to preserve shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best results in environments with potential electromagnetic interference, pair this Cat7 U/FTP cable with shielded network equipment and proper grounding. Keep length appropriate for the run—use 1m cables for short, visible runs to reduce clutter and maintain the highest achievable throughput.
