Cavo patch ACT CAT6A U/UTP PVC 305 m rosso

The ACT CAT6A U/UTP PVC 305m Red is a bulk patch cable designed for structured cabling and network installations that require Cat6a performance over a long run. This cable is supplied on a 305 meter reel and comes in a red jacket for easy identification. It follows the Cat6a standard and is intended for use in environments where enhanced data transmission and channel performance are required.

Advantages

The cable provides Cat6a-level transmission characteristics, supporting higher frequencies compared with earlier categories. Its U/UTP construction offers improved near-end crosstalk and alien crosstalk behavior suitable for high-density cabling. The 305 m length on a single reel reduces the need for multiple joins or shorter runs, and the red PVC jacket allows quick visual identification in cable bundles and cabinets.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet networks up to Cat6a performance
• Structured cabling installations in commercial and residential buildings
• Patch panels, distribution frames and horizontal cabling runs
• Environments requiring color-coded cable management

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: U/UTP (screened with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 305 m
• Jacket material: PVC
• Outer jacket color: Red

How to use

Measure and cut the required length from the 305 m reel, strip the outer jacket and prepare the pairs following standard termination practices for Cat6a cabling. Terminate to compatible connectors, patch panels or keystone jacks rated for Cat6a to preserve performance. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of electrical interference; secure using cable management accessories appropriate for PVC-jacketed cables.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, terminate and test each run with Cat6a-capable connectors and certified testers. Maintain recommended bend radius, avoid over-tightening cable ties, and keep separation from power cabling where possible. Use the red jacket for clear identification in multi-cable installations and to comply with any site color-coding schemes.
