ACT Red 7 meter U/UTP CAT6A patch cable with RJ-45 connectors and PVC sheath. The cable is U/UTP CAT6A, 7 m long, and comes in red. Contacts are plated with 50 µin gold for reliable signal transmission and corrosion resistance. The cable supports high-speed network connections up to 10 Gbps and is intended for structured cabling and patching between network devices.

Advantages

This CAT6A UTP patch cable offers a 7 m length that provides flexibility in equipment placement while maintaining signal integrity for high-speed data transfer. The RJ-45 connectors use 50 µin gold-plated contacts to ensure low contact resistance and longer lifetime. The PVC sheath provides basic mechanical protection and insulation suitable for typical office and data-room environments.

Suitable for

• Patching between switches, patch panels and routers
• Connections in office and server-room networks
• 10 Gbps Ethernet links over short to medium distances
• General networking and structured cabling

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, patch panel or router. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of electrical interference; secure with cable ties or management panels as needed. Verify the link status on connected devices to confirm proper operation.

Recommendations

Use this CAT6A patch cable for in-building connections where a 7 m length is sufficient. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve the PVC sheath. For environments requiring fire-retardant or plenum-rated cabling, choose cables with the appropriate jacket specification.
