Cavo patch DIGITUS CAT6 U-UTP sottile, 3 m, grigio

DIGITUS CAT6 U-UTP Slim patch cable, 3 m, gray is an unshielded twisted-pair Ethernet patch cord designed for Gigabit networks. The cable supports CAT6 performance at up to 1 Gbit/s and a transmission frequency of up to 250 MHz. Its slim outer diameter and flexible jacket enable neat routing in patch panels, switches and wall outlets while maintaining compatibility with standard RJ45 ports. The cable construction uses stranded AWG 32/7 bare copper conductors and HD-PE insulation to balance flexibility and signal integrity for office, home and data cabinet connections.

Advantages

The reduced total diameter of approximately 2.7 mm and a flexible LSZH jacket allow space-saving installations in high-density cabling environments and tight conduits. Molded anti-kink sleeves with strain relief and a locking lever protection minimize mechanical stress on the connector and reduce the risk of damage during plugging and routing. The cable is conformant with international cabling standards for CAT6 performance, supports PoE and PoE+ applications with pure copper conductors, and is manufactured to provide long service life under normal operating conditions.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and wall outlets in office networks
• Cabling in home networks and multimedia setups
• High-density rack and cabinet wiring where space is limited
• Power over Ethernet (PoE / PoE+) devices such as IP phones and access points

How to use

Insert the RJ45 plug into the corresponding RJ45 port on your switch, patch panel, wall outlet or network device until the locking tab clicks into place. Route the slim cable through cable management channels, conduits or along patch panel rows, observing the minimum bending radius (approximately 15 times the outer diameter) and avoiding sharp bends or excessive tensile load. To disconnect, press the locking tab and pull the connector straight out while supporting the cable near the plug to avoid strain on the contact area.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines and minimize aggressive bends. When installing multiple slim patch cables in high-density environments, use appropriate cable management to maintain bend radius and prevent connector strain; this preserves signal quality and extends service life.
