Cavo patch Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 10 m bianco

Equip Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP RJ-45 10m White is a 10-metre network cable engineered for high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and paired-core crosstalk, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for reliable contact. Designed for 10GBase-T networks, its white jacket provides a discreet appearance for installation in offices, data centres, and structured cabling systems.

Advantages

The Cat.6A Platinum S/FTP patch cord offers increased bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, supporting error-free performance in demanding network environments and specifically enabling stable 10G connections. S/FTP construction provides enhanced protection against external interference while gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure corrosion resistance and consistent contact quality. The 10 m length allows flexible placement between network devices.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T switches and routers
• Server and storage connections in data centres
• High-bandwidth workstations and multimedia systems
• Structured cabling in offices and meeting rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 10 m
• Category: Cat.6A (10GBase-T)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold plated
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: White
• Weight: 0.384 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or network interface card and the other RJ-45 plug to the corresponding device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to guarantee a secure connection. Avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and route it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal 10G performance, use this Cat.6A S/FTP cable in compliant 10GBase-T equipment and maintain recommended installation practices: keep cable bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter, avoid running parallel and close to mains power cables, and terminate in compatible RJ-45 jacks or patch panels rated for Cat6A.
