Cavo patch fibra ottica ACT 3 metri LSZH multimodale 62.5/125 OM1 duplex con connettori LC e ST

The ACT Fiber Patch Cable Duplex 3m LSZH Multimode 62.5/125 OM1 with LC and ST connectors is a duplex multimode fiber optic cable designed for short-distance data transmission in indoor environments. Constructed with a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket, the cable reduces harmful emissions in the event of fire and is suitable for installations where reduced toxic and corrosive gas release is required. The 62.5/125 µm core/cladding multimode specification (OM1) supports legacy multimode networks and common enterprise connectivity scenarios.

Advantages

This duplex fiber patch cable combines LC and ST terminations to provide flexible connectivity between equipment with different connector types. The LSZH outer jacket offers improved safety for indoor and confined-space installations by limiting smoke and halogen release. With a 3 meter length, the cable balances reach and manageability for rack-to-rack or patch panel to equipment connections in wiring closets and data rooms.

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode 62.5/125 µm (OM1)
• Configuration: Duplex
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: LC (one end) to ST (other end) in duplex arrangement
• Jacket material: Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH)
• Typical use: Indoor patching and short-distance links

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before installation and, if necessary, clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Route the duplex cable through cable management systems, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. Insert the LC and ST connectors into the corresponding ports on transceivers, patch panels or equipment, ensuring secure seating. Use the 3 m length for connections within racks, between adjacent racks or from patch panels to network devices.

Recommendations

To maintain signal integrity, avoid bending the cable beyond the manufacturer’s recommended minimum bend radius and protect connectors when not in use. Use dust caps on connectors and perform regular inspections in high-traffic cabinets. For higher bandwidth or longer distances consider upgrading to higher grade multimode or singlemode fiber where appropriate.
