Cavo patch helos Ultra slim 10 m SFTP Cat 6a

Shielded patch cable helos Ultra Slim 10 m SFTP Cat 6a provides a compact, high-performance connection for Ethernet networks requiring reduced cable diameter and EMI protection. The SFTP construction combines overall foil shielding with braided screening around individual pairs to limit crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, while Cat 6a specification supports high data rates up to 10 Gbps over copper links. The 10 metre length makes this cable suitable for connecting devices within office workspaces, server racks or within home networking setups where space and cable management are important.

Advantages

The helos Ultra Slim SFTP Cat 6a cable offers reliable 10 Gigabit-capable performance in a slim, flexible jacket that simplifies routing through channels, between furniture and inside racks. Shielding reduces signal degradation from adjacent cables and electrical equipment, improving stability in dense cable environments. The reduced outer diameter decreases weight and eases installation in conduits and cable trays without compromising Category 6a transmission characteristics.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links up to 10 Gbps in offices and data closets
• Connections between switches, patch panels and servers in racks
• Home network backbones and AV streaming where shielding is required
• Installations with limited space, cable channels or conduit runs

Key specifications

• Length: 10 m
• Category: Cat 6a (augmented)
• Shielding: SFTP (overall foil + braided individual pair shielding)
• Data rate: supports up to 10 Gbps over appropriate link distances
• Connector style: RJ45 to RJ45 modular plugs
• Conductor: stranded copper for patch cable flexibility
• Outer diameter: reduced / ultra-slim design for tight routing

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug into the network device (switch, router or NIC) and the other end into the target port such as a patch panel, server or workstation. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt to guarantee a secure contact. When routing the cable, avoid excessive bending radius and do not apply tensile loads beyond normal handling to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For best results, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and maintain proper cable management in racks and conduits.

Recommendations

Use the helos Ultra Slim SFTP Cat 6a cable in environments where space is limited and electromagnetic interference is a concern. For permanent horizontal installations or where maximum transmission distance and mechanical robustness are required, consider installing appropriate in-wall or riser-rated cables and consult building cabling standards. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace cables showing visible wear or performance issues.
