Cavo patch in fibra ottica DIGITUS, LC su SC multimodale 50/125 µ, duplex lunghezza 3m classe OM3

The Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord Multimode OM3 DK-2532-03/3 is a 3 m duplex cable with LC to SC connectors and a 50/125 µm multimode OM3 core. Designed for network environments, the patch cord supports high-speed data transmission with low attenuation and stable optical performance.

Advantages

This multimode OM3 patch cord provides full-duplex communication and standardized LC-to-SC connectivity, offering compatibility with common networking equipment. The 50/125 µm OM3 fibre ensures reduced modal dispersion for improved bandwidth over short to medium distances, while the 3 m length facilitates flexible rack-to-equipment connections. The product is manufactured to industry tolerances to maintain consistent insertion loss and return loss.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching and interconnects
• Server-to-switch or switch-to-switch connections
• High-speed Ethernet and Fibre Channel links within buildings

Key specifications

• Brand: DIGITUS
• Manufacturer part number (MPN): DK-2532-03/3
• EAN: 4016032249597
• Fibre type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding: 50/125 µm

How to use

Connect the LC duplex end to the LC-compatible port and the SC duplex end to the SC-compatible port, ensuring correct alignment and gentle insertion until the connectors click into place. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius as recommended for OM3 multimode fibre. For installation in racks or patch panels, secure the cable with appropriate cable management to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean with suitable fibre cleaning tools if contamination is present. Use this OM3 patch cord for short to medium distance multimode links and verify link performance with appropriate testing equipment after installation.
