Cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex ShiverPeaks 77808 LC–SC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 1,0 m

Fiber Optic Duplex Patch Cable ShiverPeaks 77808 LC–SC 9/125µm OS1/OS2 1.0 m is a duplex fiber patch lead with an LC connector on one end and an SC connector on the other. The cable uses 9/125 µm single‑mode fiber rated OS1/OS2 and a duplex construction to support low‑loss, bidirectional transmission for high‑speed links, patch panels and equipment interconnects in telecommunications and data center installations.

Advantages

This duplex LC–SC patch cable provides precise optical alignment and low insertion loss suitable for single‑mode networks. The standardized LC and SC connectors ensure wide compatibility with transceivers, patch panels and active equipment. Its 1.0 m length offers a compact connection for rack and cabinet wiring while the duplex design simplifies bidirectional signal routing. The cable jacket and fiber type are appropriate for indoor trunking and cabinet use where stable, low‑attenuation connections are required.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting equipment in data centers and telecom racks
• Patch panel to transceiver or switch connections
• Short intra-rack and cabinet fiber runs
• Optical testing setups and temporary link configurations

Key specifications

• Connector types: LC (one end) to SC (other end)
• Fiber type: 9/125 µm single‑mode fiber, OS1/OS2
• Configuration: Duplex (two fibers)
• Length: 1.0 m
• Application: Indoor cable runs, patching in racks and cabinets
• Color: Yellow (standard for single‑mode fiber)

How to use

Connect the LC end to the matching LC port and the SC end to the corresponding SC port on the receiving device or patch panel, ensuring connectors are clean before mating. Follow standard fiber‑handling practices: avoid bending the cable beyond the minimum bend radius, do not pull on the connectors, and secure the cable within cable management trays or guides to prevent strain. For duplex links, verify polarity so transmit and receive channels correspond correctly between devices.

Recommendations

Inspect and clean connector endfaces with appropriate fiber cleaning tools before each connection. Use labeled cable management and maintain bend radius to preserve low loss. For permanent installations, route the cable through protected pathways and avoid exposure to tight corners or mechanical stress.
