Cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex ShiverPeaks LC/LC 9/125µ OS1/OS2 20 m

ShiverPeaks Fiber Optic Duplex Patch Cable LC/LC 9/125µ OS1/OS2 20 m is a single-mode duplex patch cord with LC duplex connectors on both ends and a 20-meter length. The cable follows 9/125 µm core/cladding dimensions suitable for single-mode optical transmission classified as OS1/OS2. It is intended for reliable optical signal transfer between network devices, fiber distribution panels and transceivers in installations that require long-distance single-mode performance.

Advantages

This LC/LC duplex cable provides low-loss single-mode transmission characteristics and consistent connector mating through precision-polished LC duplex ferrules. The 9/125 µm fiber geometry ensures compatibility with standard single-mode equipment and enables long reach links with minimal attenuation. The 20 m length offers flexibility for patching between racks, cross-connects and active equipment while maintaining predictable optical performance.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and rack-to-rack fiber patching
• Telecommunications links and long-distance Ethernet connections
• Connecting optical transceivers, switches and fiber distribution panels
• Fiber optic test setups and permanent cross-connects

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC duplex on both ends
• Fiber type: single-mode optical fiber, 9/125 µm
• Standard classification: OS1/OS2 single-mode
• Length: 20 meters
• Cable color: yellow (single-mode convention)
• Jacket: flexible outer jacket suitable for indoor/patching use

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces before installation and clean if necessary using appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Route the cable without tight bends and avoid sharp edges or crushing to preserve the fiber's attenuation characteristics; maintain a bend radius consistent with the manufacturer's recommendations for 9/125 µm fiber. Insert LC duplex connectors into compatible LC ports on transceivers, switches or patch panels until they click into place, ensuring correct duplex orientation for transmit/receive channels.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep connectors covered when not in use, perform endface inspection after handling, and use dust caps during storage. Use this 9/125 µm single-mode patch cable for long-reach links and avoid deploying it in outdoor or direct-burial scenarios unless additional protective measures are applied.
