Cavo patch in fibra ottica duplex ShiverPeaks SC/SC 9/125 µm OS1/OS2, giallo 20,0 m

Duplex fiber optic patch cable ShiverPeaks SC/SC 9/125 µm OS1/OS2, yellow 20.0 m provides a ready-made singlemode connection with SC connectors on both ends. The 9/125 µm fiber core and OS1/OS2 compatibility ensure low attenuation for long-distance signal transmission. The distinctive yellow outer jacket offers quick visual identification in cable runs and racks, while the 20.0 m length is suitable for linking racks, patch panels and network equipment in telecom and data center environments.

Advantages

The cable uses two singlemode fibers in a duplex configuration for simultaneous transmit and receive channels with standard SC push-pull connectors that provide secure mechanical coupling. The 9/125 µm geometry and OS1/OS2 rating deliver predictable insertion loss and return loss characteristics suitable for many telecom and enterprise applications. The yellow jacket increases visibility for maintenance and reduces risk of accidental unplugging or misrouting during reconfiguration.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting patch panels and switches in data centers
• Trunking between telecom equipment and distribution frames
• Connecting network appliances and optical transceivers
• Fiber optic test setups and temporary installations

Key specifications

• Fiber type: singlemode, core/cladding 9/125 µm
• Standards compatibility: OS1/OS2 singlemode
• Connector type: SC duplex on both ends
• Configuration: duplex (two fibers) for transmit and receive
• Outer jacket color: yellow for singlemode identification
• Cable length: 20.0 m

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before connecting and, if necessary, clean with appropriate fiber cleaning tools. Align and insert each SC connector into the corresponding SC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place. Use proper bend radii during routing to avoid excessive attenuation: do not kink or sharply bend the cable. For removal, depress the SC connector latch and pull straight out to avoid stressing the fiber.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled without tight loops, avoid exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperatures for prolonged periods, and follow standard fiber handling procedures during installation and maintenance to preserve optical performance.
