Cavo patch in fibra ottica monomodale 9/125 OS2 duplex corazzato ACT da 5 metri con connettori LC

The ACT 5m Singlemode 9/125 OS2 Duplex Armored LC patch cable is a fiber optic duplex patchcord with metal armor for enhanced mechanical protection. It uses a 9/125 µm singlemode fiber (OS2) and LC connectors on both ends to support reliable full-duplex data transmission over long distances, suitable for demanding installations such as data centres and industrial sites.

Advantages

The armored construction protects the fiber from crushing, impact and rodent damage while maintaining standard LC connector compatibility. The 9/125 OS2 singlemode fibre provides low attenuation for long-distance links and the duplex configuration enables simultaneous transmit and receive channels. The cable is manufactured to industry dimensions for straightforward integration into existing infrastructure.

How to use

Connect one LC connector to the appropriate LC port on your network device and the other LC connector to the corresponding port on the paired device or patch panel. Ensure connector endfaces are clean before insertion to avoid signal loss. Route the armored cable avoiding excessive bending; maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for singlemode cabling and secure the cable to prevent movement that could stress connectors.

Recommendations

Use this armored duplex LC patch cable where additional mechanical protection is required. Verify compatibility with your equipment’s LC ports and follow standard fibre handling practices: keep connectors capped when not in use, clean endfaces with appropriate cleaning tools, and avoid tight bends or crush loads to preserve signal integrity.
