Cavo patch in fibra ottica monomodale Digitus DK-2922-03

Digitus Fiber Optic Patch Cord Singlemode DK-2922-03 is a 3 m SC-to-SC duplex cable designed for singlemode networks. The cable uses OS2 fibre with a 9/125 µm core/cladding and supports reliable full-duplex data transmission between network devices, offering stable link quality for structured cabling and telecommunication environments.

Advantages

The patch cord provides consistent optical performance with OS2 singlemode fibre and SC duplex connectors, ensuring low attenuation and accurate signal transmission over longer distances. Its SC-to-SC connector configuration and 3 m length simplify device interconnection and rack or patch panel routing. The cable is suitable for professional networking installations requiring standardised singlemode connectivity.

Suitable for

• Connecting singlemode network equipment (SC to SC)
• Patch panels and fibre distribution frames
• Telecommunications links and backbone cabling
• Laboratory and test environments requiring OS2 fibre

How to use

Inspect connectors for contamination before installation and clean if necessary. Insert the SC connectors into matching SC ports on transceivers, patch panels or networking devices until they click into place, ensuring correct orientation for duplex transmission. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure using appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the fibre. Test the link after installation to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Handle the OS2 singlemode patch cord with care: avoid tight bends (observe the minimum bend radius), protect exposed connector endfaces from dust, and use dust caps when not connected to maintain optimal optical performance.
