Cavo patch in fibra ottica trunk MTP/SC Equip 25557807 OM4 20m

The equip® MTP/SC Trunk Fiber Patch Cord OM4 is a pre-terminated OM4 multimode fiber trunk cable designed for high-density, high-bandwidth networking applications. With MTP on one end and four SC connectors on the other, this 20 m patch cord supports efficient optical connections in data centers and enterprise network installations while minimising signal loss thanks to its 50 µm core diameter.

Advantages

This OM4 trunk cable provides high performance for short- to mid-range multimode links, simplified installation through factory-terminated MTP and SC connectors, and a compact design suited for high-density patching. The use of OM4 fibre helps maintain bandwidth over longer multimode distances compared with lower-grade multimode types.

Suitable for

• Data centre backbone and cross-connects
• High-speed enterprise LANs and server rooms
• Multimode optical distribution panels and MPO/MTP breakout

How to use

Route the trunk cable within fibre management trays or racks, ensuring bend-radius limits and strain relief are respected. Plug the MTP connector into the corresponding MTP port or cassette and terminate the four SC connectors into SC adapters or patch panels. Verify polished connector cleanliness prior to connection and test links with appropriate optical testing equipment after installation.

Recommendations

Maintain connector cleanliness, avoid tight bends and excessive pulling force, and store spare lengths coiled with recommended bend radius to preserve performance and lifetime.
