Cavo patch RJ45 S/FTP Cat6 0,25 m ShiverPeaks verde

Shielded Ethernet patch cable ShiverPeaks with RJ45 connectors and S/FTP shielding, Cat6 specification, 0.25 m length and green jacket. Designed for short interconnections in local area networks, this patch cable provides high‑speed data transmission and improved noise immunity for connections between patch panels, switches, routers and network ports where a compact, shielded cable is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk in dense cabling environments. Cat6 performance supports higher bandwidth and more reliable signal integrity compared to lower categories. The short 0.25 m length minimises cable clutter in patch panels and racks while the green jacket aids visual identification of network segments. Gold‑plated RJ45 contacts ensure stable contact and corrosion resistance for repeated insertions.

Suitable for

• Short patch connections between switches, routers and patch panels in server rooms and racks
• High‑density networking where reduced cable slack is needed
• Shielded environments where EMI reduction is required
• Desktop or wall port connections where a compact, durable cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 on both ends
• Length: 0.25 m
• Jacket colour: green
• Contact plating: gold‑plated contacts
• Typical use: LAN patching, short interconnects

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port of a switch, router or patch panel and the other RJ45 plug to the corresponding device or port. Ensure both connected devices support Cat6 cabling for optimal performance. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical strain, and avoid running it parallel to high‑voltage power lines to maintain shielding effectiveness. For best results in shielded installations, verify that equipment and patch panels provide proper grounding for cable shields.

Recommendations

Use this short S/FTP Cat6 patch cable in high‑density patching areas and shielded installations where minimized cable length and EMI protection are priorities. Inspect connectors for debris before each insertion and avoid kinking the cable to preserve transmission characteristics.
