Cavo ripetitore attivo USB 2.0 ROLINE 12.04.1085 12 m

The ROLINE USB 2.0 Active Repeater Cable 12.04.1085 is an active extension cable that increases the distance between a USB 2.0 4‑Port Hub with Repeater and a computer by 12 meters while preserving signal integrity. Compliant with USB 2.0 and 1.1 specifications, the repeater cable maintains electrical and timing characteristics required for reliable data transmission and supports typical USB peripherals such as printers, cameras and other devices that use a Type A connection.

Advantages

This active repeater cable ensures signal quality over long distances and complies fully with the USB 2.0 / 1.1 standard. It supports bus power from the host USB port, requires no additional drivers thanks to plug & play operation, and uses standard USB Type A male and female connectors for easy connection. The white cable and compact repeater housing provide a discreet appearance in most setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting USB peripherals (printers, scanners, cameras) located far from the computer
• Extending the reach of a ROLINE USB 2.0 4‑Port Hub with Repeater
• Temporary or fixed installations where a 12 m USB extension is needed

• Maximum cable length: 12 m (active repeater cable)
• Connectors: USB Type A Male to USB Type A Female
• Power: bus‑powered (draws power from host USB port)

How to use

Connect the USB Type A male end of the repeater cable to the computer or upstream hub and plug the USB Type A female end into the downstream device or the ROLINE USB 2.0 4‑Port Hub with Repeater. The active repeater in the cable amplifies and reshapes the USB signal so devices can operate over the extended 12 m distance. No drivers are required; the device is recognized automatically when connected to a compatible host.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the repeater cable with devices and hosts that comply with USB power and timing specifications. Avoid chaining multiple passive extensions; if additional length is required, use certified active repeaters or hubs. Ensure connectors are fully seated and avoid excessive bending near the repeater housing.
