Exertis Connect ST/UPC su SC/UPC single-mode Duplex OS2 cavo patch in fibra ottica, 3m, giallo 392883

Connect network equipment in data centres, server rooms, or enterprise LANs with this 3-metre single mode fibre patch cable. It features an ST/UPC male connector on one end and an SC/UPC male connector on the other, making it ideal for linking legacy ST-based hardware to modern SC-based switches, media converters, or patch panels. The duplex construction supports simultaneous bidirectional communication over two fibres, while the 9/125 µm OS2 single mode core ensures low attenuation for high-speed, long-distance links. The yellow LSZH jacket is halogen-free, reducing toxic smoke in case of fire, and its 2 mm diameter allows for dense cable routing in racks and trays.

Why choose it

This patch cable combines the robustness of ST connectors with the convenience of SC, all in a halogen-free jacket that meets strict fire safety requirements. Its UPC polish ensures low back reflection, critical for high-speed data transmission. The OS2 fibre supports wavelengths up to 1550 nm, making it suitable for long-haul and metro networks.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting legacy ST equipment to SC-based infrastructure
• Data centre interconnects and backbone cabling
• Enterprise LAN and SAN applications
• FTTx deployments

Good to know

The cable is compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.3 standards and operates reliably between -20°C and 70°C. Its 2 mm diameter and duplex zip-cord design allow for easy identification and separation of transmit and receive fibres.
