How to use

Install the InLine 27649C by powering down the system, opening the chassis and connecting one end of the cable to the SAS port on the controller (HBA, RAID card or host interface) and the other end to the SAS device or backplane. Ensure connectors are fully seated and route the cable to avoid sharp bends. After reassembling the chassis, power on the system and verify device detection in firmware or operating system storage management tools.

Recommendations

Use the cable only for internal SAS connections and avoid exposure to liquids or excessive heat. Maintain gentle bend radii and secure the cable inside the chassis to prevent strain on connectors. Consult your controller and drive documentation for supported SAS versions and maximum cable length when planning installations.
