Cavo SATA connettore maschio/connettore maschio DeLOCK 82804 0,3 m giallo

This SATA cable by DeLOCK conforms to the SATA 6 Gb/s standard and supports data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s. It is a male-to-male internal cable with a length of 0.3 m and yellow insulation, designed to connect SATA devices such as HDDs, SSDs, optical drives or controller cards to a motherboard or other internal SATA ports. The SATA 6 Gb/s interface is backward compatible with earlier SATA versions, though transfer speed will be limited to the older standard when used with legacy devices.

Advantages

The cable provides a compact 0.3 m connection with metal-clip SATA connectors for improved retention and secure mating. Its compliance with the 6 Gb/s specification ensures compatibility with modern SATA devices while remaining compatible with previous SATA generations. The yellow jacket makes cable routing and identification inside the PC easier.

Suitable for

• Internal connections between motherboard and 2.5"/3.5" HDD or SSD
• Connecting optical drives to internal SATA ports
• Linking SATA controller cards to storage devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: SATA male to SATA male
• Standard: SATA 6 Gb/s (backward compatible)
• Cable length: 0.3 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Retention: metal clip on SATA connectors

How to use

Align the SATA connector with the SATA socket on the drive or motherboard and insert it until the metal clip engages. When connecting to a hard drive, route the cable so it leads upward as required by your drive bay layout. Ensure both ends are fully seated and that the cable is not pinched by case panels or sharp edges. If connecting to an older SATA device, expect lower maximum transfer speeds corresponding to that device's supported SATA revision.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal PC setups only. Avoid excessive bending or stretching of the cable and keep it clear of fans and heat sources. Confirm that both connected devices support the SATA interface and power is disconnected when installing or removing drives.
