Cavo SATA DeLOCK 83688 0,1 m

The DeLOCK 83688 SATA cable is a high-quality 0.1 m cable for SATA III connections. It features two 7-pin SATA connectors and is intended for reliable internal data connections such as HDDs, SSDs and controller cards. The compact length makes it suitable for use in tight spaces inside computer cases; the cable is purple and designed for straightforward installation.

Advantages

The cable is covered with a nylon shielding for improved durability and reduced wear. Gold-plated metal clips on the connectors provide a secure snapping connection and corrosion resistance. The short 0.1 m length minimises cable clutter and signal loss in short internal connections.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal hard drives (HDD) and solid state drives (SSD)
• Linking SATA controller cards to drives
• Use in compact PC builds or cramped internal layouts
• Temporary testing or bench setups requiring short SATA cables

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 0.1 m
• Connector 1: SATA 7-pin
• Connector 2: SATA 7-pin
• Product colour: Purple
• Brand: DELOCK
• MPN: 83688

How to use

Align the 7-pin SATA connector with the SATA socket on the drive or controller, then press gently until the gold-plated clip snaps into place. For removal, press the clip and pull the connector straight out to avoid bending pins. Use the 0.1 m cable for short internal connections to minimise slack and maintain tidy cable management within the case.

Recommendations

For best results, route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it under tension. Use this short SATA III cable when drives are positioned close to the motherboard or controller to reduce potential signal degradation; inspect connectors periodically for dust or corrosion.
