Cavo SATA DeLOCK 84989 0,2 m SATA 7-Pin nero blu

The DeLOCK 84989 SATA cable is a 0.2 m SATA III internal cable with 7-pin SATA connectors on both ends, designed for connecting SATA devices such as HDDs, controller cards or flash memories to a motherboard or other SATA interfaces. It supports the SATA III standard with data transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s and is backward compatible with earlier SATA versions, operating at the respective lower speeds when used with older devices. The cable is finished in black and blue and includes metal clips on the connectors to ensure a secure, audible click when attached.

Advantages

This SATA cable supports up to 6 Gb/s transfer speed according to the SATA III standard and is downward compatible with previous SATA versions. The short 0.2 m length is suitable for tidy internal routing and minimizes signal degradation in close-proximity connections. Metal locking clips on both 7-pin connectors provide a reliable mechanical lock to prevent accidental disconnection.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal 2.5" or 3.5" SATA hard drives and SSDs to a motherboard
• Linking SATA controller cards to SATA storage devices
• Connecting internal flash storage or optical drives with SATA interface

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III
• Cable length: 0.2 m
• Connectors: SATA 7-pin to SATA 7-pin (both with metal clips)
• Data transfer rate: up to 6 Gb/s (backwards compatible)
• Colour: Black, Blue

How to use

Align the 7-pin SATA connector with the corresponding SATA port on the drive or motherboard so that the keyed side matches. Insert the connector until the metal clip engages and you hear or feel the click, confirming a secure connection. When connecting to a hard drive, the cable is intended to route to the right from the drive connector. To disconnect, depress the metal clip and gently pull the connector straight out.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use this 0.2 m SATA III cable for internal connections where short routing is possible. Avoid excessive bending or sharp kinks near the connectors and keep the cable clear of cooling fans and moving parts. When connecting to older SATA devices, expect lower transfer speeds corresponding to the device and controller capabilities.
