Cavo SCART 2 m ShiverPeaks BS98034

The ShiverPeaks BS98034 SCART cable 2 m is a 2-metre audio/video lead that connects devices with a 21-pin SCART socket to equipment using three RCA jacks. Designed for home entertainment systems, this black cable carries composite video and stereo audio signals between sources such as DVD players, older gaming consoles and televisions that support SCART or RCA connections. Its 2 m length offers flexible placement of devices while keeping signal paths simple and direct.

Advantages

The cable provides a single-cable solution for combined video and stereo audio transmission, reducing the need for multiple separate leads. With a standard 21-pin SCART connector and three RCA plugs, it supports composite video and left/right audio channels. The 2 m length balances reach and signal integrity for typical home setups, and the black exterior helps the cable blend into most living-room environments. The construction is intended for reliable, everyday use when connecting legacy AV equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting DVD players to TVs with SCART or RCA inputs
• Linking older gaming consoles to televisions or capture devices
• Connecting VCRs, set-top boxes or similar legacy AV devices
• Basic composite video and stereo audio connections in home AV setups

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connector type (end A): 21-pin SCART
• Connector type (end B): 3 x RCA (composite video + stereo audio)
• Signal supported: composite video and stereo audio
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert the 21-pin SCART plug into the SCART socket on the source or display device, ensuring correct orientation. Plug the three RCA connectors into the corresponding colour-coded inputs on the other device: typically yellow for composite video, white for left audio and red for right audio. Power on both devices and select the appropriate input on the display. For stable performance, avoid excessive bending near the connectors and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this SCART to 3×RCA cable when connecting legacy AV equipment that supports composite video. For best results, verify that both devices are set to matching input/output modes and secure connections are made. For higher-resolution sources, consider digital alternatives if available, as this cable transmits standard-definition composite signals.
