Cavo sensore/attuatore METZ CONNECT 142MDA10050 connettore maschio M12 5 m nero

The METZ CONNECT 142MDA10050 is a flexible, silicone- and halogen-free sensor/actuator cable with M12 male connector and a length of 5 m. Designed for demanding industrial environments, the cable offers high mechanical strength and resistance to chemicals, hydrolysis and microbes. It is suitable for use in drag-chain applications (minimum bending radius 10xd) and is manufactured to meet UL and CSA (UL10493/20549; cULus) requirements.

Advantages

This sensor/actuator cable is flame retardant, seawater resistant and recyclable. It is LABS-free, RoHS compliant and resistant to acids, alkalis, ozone and UV. The construction provides hydrolysis protection, drag-chain and torsion resistance, welding-spark resistance and oil resistance while remaining silicone- and halogen-free.

Suitable for

• Connecting sensors and actuators in automation systems
• Robotics and flexible machine applications
• Machine tools and metal-cutting production environments
• Drag-chain installations with minimum bending radius 10xd

How to use

Install the METZ CONNECT 142MDA10050 by connecting the M12 male connector to the corresponding sensor or actuator socket. Route the cable following the required bending radius (minimum 10xd for drag-chain use) and avoid sharp bends or crushing. Ensure connectors are properly engaged and fastened to maintain electrical and mechanical reliability in automation and machine environments.

Recommendations

For long-term performance, avoid exposure to temperatures or chemicals outside the cable's specified range and inspect periodically for mechanical wear in high-movement areas such as drag chains or robotic arms.
