Cavo SFP+ Direct Attach CBO BlueOptics XDACBL3M 3 m, connettore maschio-connettore maschio, 10 Gbit/s

The CBO SFP+ Direct Attach Cable BlueOptics XDACBL3M is a 3 m copper cable with male-to-male SFP+ connectors designed for 10 Gbit/s short-range links. It provides a low-latency, plug-and-play connection between switches, network interface cards and servers, suitable for top-of-rack and adjacent-rack interconnects in data centers and enterprise networks. The cable is intended to deliver stable 10 Gbit/s performance for short distances while minimizing power consumption compared with optical transceivers.

Advantages

This SFP+ direct attach cable offers an economical and simple solution for establishing high-speed connections without the need for separate transceivers. Its copper construction and pre-terminated SFP+ connectors reduce installation time and eliminate transceiver compatibility issues. The 3 m length balances reach and signal integrity for common rack-to-rack and intra-rack applications. Low latency and low power draw make it appropriate for densely populated networking environments.

Suitable for

• Short-range 10 Gbit/s links between switches in data centers
• Direct connections between servers and network interface cards
• Top-of-rack to aggregation switch cabling
• Patch connections within adjacent racks or network cabinets

Key specifications

• Interface: SFP+ male-to-male
• Data rate: 10 Gbit/s
• Length: 3 meters
• Cable type: copper direct attach
• Typical use: short-range high-speed interconnects
• Connector style: pre-terminated SFP+ modules

How to use

Insert each SFP+ connector into the corresponding SFP+ port on the devices to be connected. Ensure that both devices are powered down or that hot-plugging of SFP+ modules is supported by the equipment. After insertion, confirm link status in the device management interface; in most cases the cable is plug-and-play and will be recognised automatically. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical strain on the connectors, maintaining the recommended bend radius for copper SFP+ assemblies.

Recommendations

Use this 3 m SFP+ direct attach cable for in-rack and adjacent-rack connections up to 10 Gbit/s where short reach and low latency are required. Verify hardware compatibility with vendor guidance and firmware support for DAC modules, and avoid exceeding the cable's intended deployment distance to maintain signal integrity.
