Cavo TAE-N InLine, TAE-N / RJ11 6P4C, 15m

The InLine TAE-N cable TAE-N / RJ11 6P4C 15m is a 15 metre telecommunications lead designed to connect devices with a TAE-N socket to equipment using an RJ11 6P4C plug. The cable comes in black and is intended for telephone and small telecommunication installations where a reliable wired connection between TAE-N and RJ11 interfaces is required.

Advantages

This 15m InLine cable provides a straightforward wired connection between TAE-N and RJ11 6P4C devices, reducing the need for adapters or additional converters. The male connectors ensure secure insertion into the corresponding sockets. Its single-colour jacket simplifies visual integration in home or office environments and helps to conceal cabling along floors or behind furniture. The fixed-length design eliminates signal uncertainty associated with improvised lines.

Suitable for

• Connecting landline telephones with TAE-N sockets to devices with RJ11 6P4C inputs
• Telephone extension runs within homes or small offices
• Temporary or permanent wiring for telephony testing and setup

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 metres
• Connector A: TAE-N male
• Connector B: RJ11 6P4C male
• Colour: Black
• Application: Telephony / analogue voice connections

How to use

Insert the TAE-N male connector into the TAE-N socket of the telephone or wall outlet and plug the RJ11 6P4C male connector into the RJ11 jack of the telephone device, modem or adapter. Ensure connectors are fully seated for reliable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends or prolonged kinking and secure it with clips or cable ties where appropriate to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid routing the cable close to high-voltage power lines or strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect connectors periodically for dirt or damage and replace the cable if wear compromises the connection. Choose an installation path that minimises mechanical stress and prevents pinching to maintain long-term reliability.
