Cavo VGA ShiverPeaks BS78050-2 1,8 m

The ShiverPeaks BS78050-2 1.8m VGA cable provides a straightforward wired connection between computers, monitors, projectors and other display devices using standard 15-pin VGA (D-Sub) connectors. With a 1.8 metre length and grey jacket, this cable is intended for reliable transmission of analogue video signals in home, office or classroom environments.

Advantages

This VGA cable offers universal compatibility with devices featuring VGA (D-Sub) ports, a practical 1.8 m length that balances reach and cable management, and a durable grey outer jacket designed for everyday use. The twin 15-pin connectors ensure a stable and continuous analogue video link, reducing the need for adapters when connecting legacy and current display equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to external monitors
• Linking computers to projectors for presentations
• Replacing worn or lost VGA cables for legacy displays
• Temporary or semi-permanent AV setups in classrooms or meeting rooms

Key specifications

• Cable length: 1.8 m
• Connector type (each end): 15-pin VGA (D-Sub)
• Signal type: Analogue video
• Colour: Grey
• Number of connectors: 2 (one per end)

How to use

Connect one VGA (D-Sub) connector to the VGA output on the computer or source device and the other connector to the VGA input on the monitor or projector. Secure the connectors by tightening the thumbscrews to ensure a firm mechanical and electrical connection. Select the appropriate input on the display device and, if necessary, adjust resolution and refresh rate from the computer's display settings to match the monitor or projector capabilities.

Recommendations

For best analogue video quality, keep cable runs as short as practical and avoid running the VGA cable in parallel with high-power electrical cables. If image noise or signal degradation appears over longer distances, consider using signal boosters or switching to a digital interface where supported.
