The Acer 33.Q99N2.001 hinge is a replacement laptop hinge designed to restore smooth opening and closing of compatible Acer laptop lids. Advantages

This hinge delivers consistent pivot action and improved durability compared with worn factory hinges, reducing wobble and uneven lid movement. It is designed to fit into the original hinge mounting points and to work with existing screws and brackets where applicable. Installation is straightforward for technicians or experienced users, and the part restores proper display positioning and tension without requiring modification to the laptop casing.

Suitable for

• Repairing an Acer laptop with a loose, broken, or stiff display hinge

• Restoring correct lid alignment and display tension
• Use by repair shops, service centers, or experienced home technicians

Key specifications

• Fit: Designed to match original hinge mounting geometry and screw locations

How to use

Power down the laptop and remove the battery (if removable) before beginning any repair. Open the display partially to access hinge covers and remove bezel or trim pieces as required to reach hinge mounting screws. Unscrew the defective hinge from the display assembly and chassis, then position the replacement hinge in the original mounting points and secure with the same or equivalent screws. Reassemble bezel and trim, restore the battery and power on the device to check display movement and alignment. If unsure, consult service documentation for the specific Acer model or seek professional installation.

Recommendations

Handle the hinge and display assembly with care during installation; avoid overtightening screws which can stress plastic surrounds or deform hinge components. Verify compatibility with the specific Acer model before purchase and use appropriate tools to ensure correct alignment and torque for reliable long-term operation.
