Ciabatta Bachmann BN ESSENTIAL Metered con 24×IEC C13, 6×CEE 7/3, 6×LS, cavo 3,0 m CEE 32/5p

The Bachmann BN ESSENTIAL Metered Power Distribution Unit is a rack-mount PDU designed to distribute mains power safely and clearly across multiple IT devices. This model provides 24 IEC C13 outlets, six CEE 7/3 sockets and six LS outputs, and is supplied with a 3.0 m CEE 32/5p mains cable. The metered variant includes a local display for monitoring current load and cumulative energy consumption, supporting basic power management and capacity planning in cabinets and server racks.

Advantages

The unit combines a mixed set of outlet types to support a variety of equipment without additional adaptors. Built for rack installation, it simplifies cable routing and keeps power distribution consolidated. Local metering gives immediate visibility of load and energy use at the device, helping to avoid overloads and to balance connected loads. The supplied 3.0 m heavy-duty mains cable enables flexible positioning of the PDU within typical rack environments.

Suitable for

• Data center racks and server cabinets
• Small and medium enterprise IT closets
• Network equipment, telecom cabinets and storage enclosures
• Workshops and AV racks that require mixed outlet types

Key specifications

• Outlet configuration: 24 × IEC C13, 6 × CEE 7/3, 6 × LS outputs
• Integrated local meter for current and energy monitoring
• Supply cable: 3.0 m CEE 32/5p mains cable
• Format: rack-mount PDU suitable for standard server cabinets
• Construction: metal housing designed for continuous operation in IT environments

How to use

Install the PDU in a compatible rack or cabinet using standard mounting hardware. Connect the CEE 32/5p mains cable to a properly rated supply outlet and check the local meter to confirm incoming power and baseline consumption. Connect equipment to the IEC C13, CEE 7/3 and LS outlets as required, balancing loads across outlet groups where practical. Observe the meter readings during initial power-up to verify that the total load remains within acceptable limits for the rack and building supply.

Recommendations

Position the PDU to allow easy access to outlets and the local meter. Distribute high-current devices across different outlet groups to reduce the risk of circuit overload. Periodically check the local meter and perform visual inspections of cables and connectors. Use the mixed outlet set to avoid unnecessary adapters and to maintain clear cable management within the rack.
